Dried Flower on Shell

This is such a simple and elegant idea for using dried flowers and resin to create one of a kind jewelry components.

It began with two vintage items in my stash.  A very old dried flower souvenir featuring edelweiss and these almost heart shaped shell pendants I found travelling.

This is the table in the Paris antique market where I found them in April.

These pendants were fragile, so pouring resin on them made them much stronger.  I feel confident about stringing them onto a necklace now.

Reminder:  I applied three layers of mod-podge to these dried flowers before covering them in resin.
