Rubber Stamped Jewelry Clay

The more I experiment with resin clay the more I love it!
This is a little inspiration to consider rubber stamping your clay.  All I did was place some clay in a bezel, stamp my Frida image with black Staz-on and add some crystals to the edges.  When the clay was cured I coloured it with metallic pastes.

This post was designed, photographed and written by me.

It appeared on Resin Crafts Blog.

Hi Carmi. I'm kind of new to your blog, but I am really enjoying your work. I am really interested in the jewelry clay, but I can't seem to find it for sale anywhere. Is it available yet? I have a bit of an allegiance (and quite a bit of product) to Ice Resin. I am guessing the clay would work with there resin? Is there anything that you can think of that would make the two not compatible? I looked for your email address as I thought it might be easier to correspond that way, but could not find one. Thank you, Laurie Hunt

Hi Laurie, I only use our Jewelry Resin, so I can't tell you much about Ice Resin. I can't imagine there being a problem as I have used our resin in other types of clays successfully. Our new clay started shipping last month. It has not gone to a big name that I could point you to, but you could always ask customer service.

Thanks Cami. I went to our local gem of a craft store, its a bit of a drive for me, to get the other hot item from CHA the 1-step looper. Even though they hadn't listed the clay on the website I thought I'd go check out the resin area and low and behold, I found it. I felt like I had scored the holy grail. You can't find the looper anywhere on line and I had the same result in my search for the clay! Thanks for your response. Now I have to go take a complete look at the backless heart bezel you are making on today's blog post!

I am so happy you got two scores in one trip! I am taking several beading classes in the USA this weekend and have a wish list too!
